What are the key features of a printer?
Choose a printer that helps you get more done in less time and delivers the professional results you need. Craft family albums filled with vibrant memories using an inkjet printer or photo printer in your home, or copy, fax and scan documents using an all-in-one laser printer at the office. Thanks to wireless printers with app support, you can seamlessly move through projects from virtually anywhere using your computer, tablet or smartphone. As far as boosting productivity and saving resources, look for printers that boast high print and copy speeds as well as a duplex function that lets you print on both sides of the page.

How does a 3-D printer work?
While you could describe your latest project idea on paper, sometimes it’s just better to show them. You can take your design from concept to reality with a 3-D printer. 3-D printers use filament to craft models of the designs you’ve created using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software. Filament comes in many different colors and materials, the most common being plastic, powder and resin.
Once your design is sent to the printer, its extruder pulls and feeds the filament from a spool and moves it toward the hot end of the head where it is melted along the build platform, creating your design layer by layer. When it’s finished, your clients can hold and touch your idea, gaining a more detailed perspective of your vision.
